I always have the hardest time figuring out what to buy my husband, not just on Father’s Day (this is our first!), but for any holiday. He typically doesn’t want much, and if he wants something, he usually just gets it himself. This leaves me with only the really expensive stuff that he wouldn’t buy on his own — and let’s face it, we just had a baby. We can’t afford any big gifts this year.
After lots of researching and thinking about what a guy wants, I came up with a few ideas and I thought I would share them with all of you! (In case you are in the same boat and are racking your brain to come up with something!)
Young Living Beard Oil
As you read in last week’s post, I am new to Essential Oils, but the second I saw the Shutran Beard Oil, I knew Chris would LOVE IT. If you know Chris at all, you know he loves his beard (a little too much). This oil will soften, condition, and add a healthy-looking sheen to facial hair while moisturizing the skin underneath. If you are wondering, yes, he already knows that he is getting this. We are pretty terrible at surprises around here…
If you decide you want to grab some beard oil for yo’ baby-daddy (or your actual daddy), let me know! I’ll get you the wholesale price 😉
Ok, I know a t-shirt might sound lame, but Chris really does love a good t-shirt (almost as much as he loves his beard). These are some great options. Just click the photos for links to purchase.
Personalized Photo Gifts
I just recently found these and am really excited about all the different options. I’m not sure if this stuff is new, or if I am just late to the game, but Shutterfly has so many customizable/personalizable gift options that would be great for guys!! Chris takes coffee with him to work everyday, and would love a Stainless Steel Mug with pictures of Beckett on it…especially pictures of them together. He collects beer glasses from different restaurants and breweries, so this Personalized Beer Glass is right up his alley. I was also thinking that the Mouse Pad and Magnet would be nice for his office, just to have pictures of Beckett around.
